Practical information about construction work in Martigny - Vernayaz

In order to modernise our infrastructure and prepare the new TMR station in Martigny, major works will take place between November 2025 and March 2026.

The Martigny – Vernayaz MC section will be completely closed from 17 November 2025 to 29 March 2026.

Throughout the closure, replacement buses will be in service and parking spaces will be available in Vernayaz.

Trains will run as normal on the rest of the line.

Bus timetables correspond to the usual train timetables to make your journey easier.

How can I buy a ticket during the works?

During the works, the TMR ticket machine at the Mont-Blanc Express station will be out of service. You can purchase your ticket:

-At the TMR Voyages ticket office in Martigny

-On SBB.ch

-From SBB ticket machines

-Via the SBB app
